- Also when purchasing your window treatment, remember to consider how long the curtains will hang, because treatments hanging too low to the ground or too high might not look correct. Always a good rule of thumb to measure everything before installation (we can speak first hand about botched installations, whew!)
- Furthermore, when installing your hold back, take a a step back to see how the curtains gather. Make sure the look is proportional to the size of the room, length of the curtains and distance apart. Our first step is to pull the curtains back to the edge, and then gather them there naturally, if it looks good, then install the holdback (always take your time - because no one wants any extra ugly holes in their walls!)
